Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant / Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, experience in ERP/accounting systems, and the ability to ensure accurate financial records while supporting business decision-making through timely financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, payments, receipts, and adjustments.
  • Manage general ledger activities and account reconciliations.
  • Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate MIS reports and provide financial analysis to management.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and review GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
  • Maintain documentation and records required for compliance and audit purposes.

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Ensure effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Support ERP implementation, automation, and system enhancements where applicable.

Team Coordination (Senior-Level Responsibility)

  • Guide and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Review accounting entries and reconciliations prepared by team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve financial and operational issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CA Inter / CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA qualification is preferred.
  • 3–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.

  • Improvement in accounting processes and controls.

Experience

  • Accountant: 3–5 years of experience.
  • Senior Accountant: 5–8 years of experience with team handling and financial reporting responsibilities.

CTC: As per company standards and candidate experience. Employment Type: Full-Time.

Pay: ₹8,550.18 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
