CA - Management Trainee
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (freshly qualified) to join as a Management Trainee (Finance). The trainee will be placed on a structured program across key Finance verticals, driving strategic projects, strengthening internal processes, and supporting business decision-making. This role is designed to build wellrounded finance professionals who can transition into a full-time role within the Finance team post successful completion of the program.
Candidates who have qualified CA in the first attempt will be strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Project Rotations (Indicative Areas)The trainee will work on high-impact assignments across multiple finance functions, such as:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Support annual operating plan (AOP), budgeting, and forecasting cycles
- Conduct variance analysis, spend analytics, and business performance reviews
- Build management reports and dashboards for leadership
- Controllership & Accounting
- Assist in monthly/quarterly closure activities
- Review GL reconciliations, provisions, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS and internal controls
- Costing & Plant Finance
- Work on product costing, plant-level MIS, and cost optimization projects
- Support inventory valuation, standard costing, and BOM reviews
- Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
- Support GST filings, assessments, reconciliations
- Assist in corporate tax calculations, audits, and regulatory updates
- Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Analyze cash flows, fund utilization, and working capital metrics
- Assist in banking operations, investment decisions, and risk management
- Internal Audit & Process Improvements
- Participate in internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks
- Recommend automation and process efficiency improvements
- Internal Process Improvement Projects (Cross-Functional)The trainee will also lead or support process transformation initiatives such as:
- Automation of routine financial processes (Excel Power BI, SAP enhancements, workflow digitization)
- Streamlining month-end close timelines through standardization and SOP creation
- Improving MIS reporting efficiency by designing dashboards/templates
- Enhancing internal controls based on audit findings or business needs
- Process mapping and reengineering across finance sub-functions (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report)

Eligibility:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) 0 - 1Year experience
- Articleship experience in audit, taxation, consulting or finance preferred
- Strong academic background and project exposure during articleship
