Hiring: Institutional Derivatives Dealer & Derivatives Sales Trader

We are hiring for Institutional Derivatives professionals with a leading Institutional Equities business. We are open to candidates from both Institutional Dealing and Institutional Sales Trading backgrounds.

Open Positions

1. Institutional Derivatives Sales Trader cum Dealer

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute institutional derivative trades and manage client orders.
• Generate trade ideas involving arbitrage, spreads, rollovers, and dividend opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients including Mutual Funds, FPIs, DIIs, PMS, and AIFs.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and trade confirmations.
• Analyze derivative, quantitative, and technical research reports to support trading decisions.

2. Institutional Derivatives Trader

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage institutional derivative trades with a focus on arbitrage and rollover strategies.
• Handle large arbitrage positions across DII, Mutual Fund, FPI, and Proprietary books.
• Monitor positions, manage execution risks, and resolve trade-related issues.
• Ensure efficient and accurate execution in a high-volume trading environment.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class execution services.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3–7+ years of experience in Institutional Derivatives Trading, Dealing, Sales Trading, or Arbitrage Trading.
• Strong understanding of arbitrage, rollover, spread, and dividend strategies.
• Experience dealing with institutional investors and managing execution-intensive trading activities.
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as GREEK, Omnesys, Utrade, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical, execution, and communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
