Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller for a 4-month contractual assignment with our client based in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in finance operations, statutory audits, accounting controls, and stakeholder management. This role requires a professional who can work independently, take ownership of critical finance processes, and ensure timely delivery of key financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage and support statutory audit activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
• Work closely with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Monitor accounting processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Support financial reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve finance-related issues.
• Drive process improvements and support business continuity during the assignment period.
• Manage deliverables with minimal supervision and provide regular updates to leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in Finance Controllership, Accounting, Auditing, or Financial Operations.
• Prior experience in the FMCG and E-commerce/Q-commerce industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of statutory audits, financial controls, and accounting processes.
• Ability to quickly understand business operations and independently manage responsibilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
