Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Ecommerce Analyst to support and drive business growth across Quick Commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, BB Now, and other emerging channels.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking business performance, generating actionable insights, managing reporting dashboards, monitoring assortment and pricing, and working closely with category, account management, supply chain, and marketing teams to accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance & Reporting

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance across Quick Commerce platforms.
  • Create and maintain automated dashboards and business reports.
  • Analyze GMV, revenue, orders, conversion, basket size, availability, and growth metrics.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and business risks through data analysis.

Marketplace & Assortment Analytics

  • Monitor SKU-level performance across platforms.
  • Analyze assortment gaps, inventory health, stock availability, and fill rates.
  • Recommend assortment expansion and optimization opportunities.
  • Track product rankings, visibility, and category share.

Pricing & Competition Analysis

  • Monitor pricing, promotions, and offers across platforms.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market intelligence.
  • Analyze impact of discounting and promotional campaigns on sales and profitability.

Demand & Inventory Insights

  • Support forecasting and replenishment planning.
  • Identify stock-out risks and lost-sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve service levels.

Marketing & Campaign Analytics

  • Measure performance of platform campaigns, banners, and visibility initiatives.
  • Analyze ROI and effectiveness of trade marketing investments.
  • Provide recommendations to improve campaign performance.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Key Account Managers, Category Managers, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Present business reviews and actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in Ecommerce Analytics, Business Analytics, Category Analytics, or Marketplace Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Power Query preferred).
  • Experience with SQL is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with Quick Commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BB Now, Flipkart Minutes, etc.
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics, Mobile Accessories, Audio, Wearables, FMCG, or D2C brands will be an advantage.
