🎯 WE ARE HIRING | Senior Underwriter – Corporate General Insurance
We're looking for seasoned underwriting professionals with 8+ years in insurance broking to join SPA Insurance Broking Services Ltd. as Senior Underwriters.
Two specialization tracks are open:
🔵 **TRACK A: Employee Benefits (EB)**
Manage GMC, GPA, Motor, Health & Life products. Drive wellness initiatives, coordinate claims, and build lasting client relationships in the EB space.
🟢 **TRACK B: General Insurance (Non-EB)**
Own underwriting for GMC, GPA, Motor, Marine, Fire, Workmen Compensation & Liability. Handle complex risk assessment, claims coordination, strategic client partnerships, and liaison with insurance companies.
**What You'll Do:**
✓ Lead end-to-end underwriting operations (RFQ, QCR, policy issuance, endorsements)
✓ Negotiate & coordinate with insurance companies for optimal coverage & pricing
✓ Coordinate with insurance companies and regional offices for quote negotiation
✓ Manage both new business and renewals with precision
✓ Own claims management—cashless, reimbursement, TPA coordination
✓ Coordinate with insurance companies for claims approvals and manage delays
✓ Organize health camps and wellness initiatives for clients
✓ Follow up on policy issuance, endorsements with insurers and client delivery
✓ Build & maintain strategic client relationships through corporate engagement
✓ Drive operational excellence via MIS reporting & process optimization
**What We Need:**
✓ 8+ years in insurance broking (non-negotiable)
✓ Proven expertise in either EB or Non-EB underwriting
✓ Post-graduate qualification in Insurance or strong Finance/Commerce background
✓ IRDA qualification (or ability to acquire within defined period)
✓ Advanced Excel proficiency, process-driven mindset, strong communication
✓ Track record of claims management & stakeholder coordination
