About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Chartered Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team as an Assistant Manager. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work with clients across diverse industries, gain exposure to statutory audits, internal audits, management audits, financial reporting, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance assignments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, analytical ability, and leadership skills, with the capability to manage multiple audit engagements while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and maintaining high-quality professional standards.

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 0 – 3 Years Post Qualification Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute statutory audit, internal audit and assurance engagements for clients across diverse industries.
  • Plan audit engagements, identify key risk areas, and design audit procedures based on risk assessment.
  • Review financial statements for compliance with Ind AS, Accounting Standards, Companies Act requirements and applicable regulatory framework.
  • Review audit documentation, working papers, and deliverables prepared by team members.
  • Evaluate internal controls, identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation and finalization of audit reports, management letters, and presentation for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion of audit assignments while maintaining quality standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support business development initiatives, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of

  • Standards on Auditing (SA’s)

  • Accounting Standards (AS) and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)/IFRS

  • Companies Act, 2013

  • Internal Financial Controls (IFC)

  • Risk Assessment and Internal Control

  • Income Tax Act, 2025

  • Experience in statutory audits and financial statements review.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Exposure to ERP systems and audit tools will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 0 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in Audit & Assurance.
  • Candidates with relevant articleship exposure in statutory audits, internal audits, or assurance services are encouraged to apply.
  • Freshly qualified Chartered Accountants with strong audit exposure during articleship may also apply.
