Graduate Engineer Trainee - Gujarat & Uttarakhand
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) to join our Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams at Sanand, Gujarat. The selected candidates will undergo structured training and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, quality systems, and equipment maintenance within an automotive component manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Department
- Assist in daily production planning and execution.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Support line balancing and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
- Maintain production records and prepare daily reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Quality Department
- Perform in-process and final inspection of components.
- Support implementation of quality systems like ISO/TS/IATF standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis using tools like 7 QC tools, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram.
- Participate in internal audits and process audits.
- Handle customer complaints and corrective action reports (CAPA).
- Maintain quality documentation and records.
3. Maintenance Department
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines.
- Monitor equipment performance and downtime.
- Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
- Coordinate with production team to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in maintenance activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical /Production / Automobile / Mechatronics)
- Experience: Freshers or up to 1 year of experience
- Strong technical fundamentals in core engineering subjects
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Understanding of quality tools and maintenance concepts
Required Skills:
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma (preferred)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in shifts
