Accounts Trainee

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Trainee to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience to gain hands-on exposure to accounting processes, financial documentation, bookkeeping, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial documents.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and update invoices, vouchers, and payment records.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial information in accounting software.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
• Help prepare financial reports and statements as required.
• Organize and maintain accounting files and records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, BBA Finance, etc.).
• 0–1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation concepts (preferred).
