US Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities

US Accounting:

• Assist in bookkeeping and monthly closing activities
• Support preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reviews
• Help manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow activities
• Work with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite
• Learn and apply US GAAP accounting standards

US Taxation:

• Assist in preparation of US tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.)
• Support tax compliance activities and basic tax research
• Help in tax filings, documentation, and audit support
• Learn US taxation concepts and tax planning processes under guidance

Candidate Requirements

• CA Fresher or CA Inter candidate
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Eagerness to learn US Accounting and US Taxation practices
• Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting or tax software will be an added advantage
• Candidates with articleship experience will be preferred
