About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester Trainee to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates who are passionate about software quality assurance and eager to build a career in software testing.

The trainee will work closely with developers and project teams to ensure that software applications meet quality standards and deliver an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and understand software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers.
• Ensure applications function correctly across different devices and browsers.
• Participate in requirement analysis and product discussions.
• Maintain proper documentation of testing activities.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools is a plus.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, B.Tech, BSc Computer Science, or related fields.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.

Experience: Freshers / 1 Year

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
