About the Role

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assess financial statements: A mortgage analyst accesses the financial statements of all potential applicants, including previous credit inquiries. They do this to properly evaluate the applicant for creditworthiness.
- Review appraisal reports: A mortgage analyst may need to review various reports regarding a property, including appraisals, environmental documentation and engineering reports. They do this to determine investor requirements.
- Determine property values: A mortgage analyst may need to determine property values. They do this by looking at the appraised market prices and comparing them to the borrower's creditworthiness.
- Administer paperwork: A mortgage analyst may need to administer the paperwork to complete the loan process. They may also help the customer submit any remaining paperwork for the closing of the loan.
- Present progress: A mortgage analyst may need to submit progress reports to any upper management. This can include regular credit and loan consumption reports.
- Visit borrower properties: A mortgage analyst may need to visit the properties and homes that plan to be part of the loans. This is so they can verify and evaluate the property value and ensure safety guidelines.
Qualification :
- Graduates: B.com/BBA: The degree fields can be in finance, economics, business, real estate or other related fields.
