Role Overview

We are looking for a Civil Engineer (2-5 years’ experience) to join our Product

Development Center (PDC), focusing on Construction Chemicals, Concrete

Technology, and New Product Innovation.

This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about material science,

concrete performance enhancement, specialty construction products, and

hands-on product development.

The candidate will work closely with the R&D and engineering teams to

develop, test, validate, and commercialize construction chemical products

including concrete enhancers, admixtures, repair mortars, flooring systems,

waterproofing solutions, and specialty concrete products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Testing & Validation

• Conduct laboratory and field testing of construction chemical products

• Assist in testing and validation of:

• Concrete Enhancers (CE10)

• Admixtures

• Waterproofing compounds

• Repair mortars

• Flooring systems

• Surface treatments and coatings

• Evaluate product performance based on:

• Compressive strength

• Flexural strength

• Bond strength

• Durability

• Water permeability

• Workability and setting characteristics

• Maintain detailed test records and reports

2. New Product Development (R&D Support)

• Support development of innovative construction chemical products

• Participate in:

• Product formulation trials

• Mix design optimization

• Raw material evaluation

• Product benchmarking against market leaders

• Assist in developing next-generation products for:

• Concrete enhancement

• Industrial flooring

• Decorative flooring

• Waterproofing

• Repair and rehabilitation

3. Laboratory & Product Development Center Operations

• Assist in managing day-to-day activities at the Product Development Center

• Conduct product trials and demonstrations

• Coordinate procurement and testing of raw materials

• Support pilot production and scale-up activities

• Ensure testing equipment and laboratory facilities are maintained properly

4. Documentation & Technical Reporting

• Maintain structured records of:

• Product formulations

• Test results

• Trial outcomes

• Performance evaluations

• Prepare:

• Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

• Method Statements

• Product Application Guidelines

• Technical Presentations

• Support certification and compliance activities

5. Site & Customer Support

• Visit project sites for:

• Product application monitoring

• Technical troubleshooting

• Product demonstrations

• Data collection and validation

• Support pilot implementations and field trials

• Work with contractors, consultants, and project teams during product

evaluations

6. Continuous Learning & Innovation

• Stay updated on:

• Construction chemical technologies

• Concrete science and admixtures

• Flooring systems

• Waterproofing technologies

• Global innovations in construction materials

• Contribute ideas for new products and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• 2-5 years of experience

• Basic understanding of:

• Site execution practices

• Exposure to Concrete Technology, Construction Materials, or

Construction Chemicals through internships, projects, or industry

training

• Knowledge of concrete mix design, material testing, and laboratory

procedures

• Familiarity with IS codes related to concrete, cement, aggregates, and

admixtures

• Basic understanding of construction chemical products such as:

• Admixtures

• Waterproofing systems

• Repair mortars

• Flooring systems

• Grouts and anchors

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical report preparation

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to:

• Concrete testing

• Laboratory testing

• Material trials

• Construction chemical products

• Knowledge of:

• IS Codes related to concrete and materials

• Mix design principles

• Construction quality practices
